Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert (PSLOD) is proud to present “Turning Up The Heat 2007,” the hottest and final major Leather Event for calendar year 2007 in the US. Join leather men from around the world as they descend into the warm Palm Springs November weather to celebrate Palm Springs Leather Pride 2007, running from Thursday, November 8 through Sunday, November 11, 2007.
A first for 2007 will be the Sunny Dunes Street Fair, a two-day leather and fetish open-air vendor market featuring merchandise, art and food vendors, plus full alcohol service and a live disc jockey. The weekend also features a Formal Leather Cocktail Party with open bar (well drinks), hot and cold hors d’oeuvres buffet and a special performance by comedian Eddie Sarfaty. Merchandise and food vendors are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.
The focus Saturday night shifts to the Mr. Palm Springs Leather 2008 Contest, featuring an elaborate pre-contest Silent Auction fundraiser. Comedian Bob Smith will entertain the always-sold-out crowd this year, and DJ Doom will host a Victory Dance afterwards that runs until 4am.
A Meet & Greet the Mr. Palm Springs Leather Contestants Reception, Poolside BBQ with the infamous soaked t-shirt contest, and Sunday Beer Bust round out the weekend schedule.
